According to recent news, Gal Gadot has confirmed that a third movie for the popular “Wonder Woman” franchise is being developed for the DC Universe. She expressed her optimism about the project and suggested that it might involve the collaboration of prominent directors and executives at DC Studios, including James Gunn and Peter Safran.
In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Gal Gadot expressed her love for playing the character of Wonder Woman. She mentioned that the character is very close to her heart and that she’s heard from James Gunn and Peter Safran that they will be collaborating to develop Wonder Woman 3. Gadot has previously portrayed the iconic superhero in several DC Universe films, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
In the film industry, Zack Snyder took the helm as the director while Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer penned the script, marking the actress’s debut as her character. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman (2017) was directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Allan Heinberg, Zack Snyder, and Jason Fuchs, with Gal Gadot playing the role of Diana Prince. Justice League (2017), on the other hand, was directed by Snyder and written by Terrio, based on a story by Snyder, Terrio, and Joss Whedon, which assembled DC’s main superheroes in one movie. Lastly, Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) was both directed and co-written by Jenkins with Geoff Johns, serving as the sequel to the first Wonder Woman movie.
